ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The NIU School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) is renowned for its research
and education relating to the sustainable design, construction and operation of the buildings
and places within which we live, work and play.
Our areas of expertise include architecture, construction management, energy systems and
environmental engineering. We have a strong orientation towards sustainability,
