Bachelor in Marketing and Digital Media

The Bachelor of Entrepreneurship and Project Management program equips students with business creation and project leadership skills through a blend of theory and practical experience. Covering areas like strategic management, innovation, risk assessment, and project lifecycle management, it fosters creativity and problem-solving. Hands-on learning includes case studies, simulations, and internships. Emerging trends such as sustainable entrepreneurship and digital project tools are integrated. Graduates can pursue entrepreneurship, consultancy, project coordination, or specialized certifications, becoming visionary leaders in competitive markets.

At the end of this program, graduates will be able to:

  1. Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
  2. Create compelling content and manage social media platforms to enhance brand visibility.
  3. Leverage data analytics to optimize marketing campaigns and measure their effectiveness.
  4. Demonstrate creativity and critical thinking in solving marketing challenges.
  5. Adapt to emerging trends in digital media and marketing technologies to stay competitive.

Direct Entry

  1. UCE with at least six credits which is English and Mathematics.
  2. UACE with at least two Principal Passes obtained at the same sitting, which must include one of the following subjects: Economics, Mathematics, or Entrepreneurship or its equivalence from UNEB or a legitimate national authority.
  3. Foreign students without UACE or its equivalent qualifications, who have successfully completed secondary school education and are admissible to university degree or diploma programmes in their respective home countries. Such students shall have passed at least five subjects with a minimum overall grade of C (Plain). In addition, foreign students whose studies were not conducted in English shall show proof of proficiency in the English Language.

Diploma Entry

Candidates seeking admission through the Diploma holder’s Scheme must:

  1. Have passed Mathematics and English with at least a credit in the Uganda Certificate of Education or its equivalent
  2. Have done a combination involving Economics, Entrepreneurship, History, Geography, Agriculture, Mathematics at UACE and passed at least one of the subjects at Principle level
  3. Have obtained a diploma or its equivalent qualification (at credit/distinction level) in the relevant field from a recognised higher institution of learning.

Mature Entry

Advanced or Higher Diploma Entry

Holders of Advanced Diploma, Higher Diploma, Higher National Diploma or equivalent qualification qualify for admission to the relevant Bachelors degree programme. The Advanced or Higher Diploma must be passed at Credit level or higher to be admitted to the final year the relevant Bachelor’s degree programme.
