Description
A rigorous 8–10 week professional certificate aligned to the NEBOSH International General Certificate standard. This course prepares supervisors, HSE officers and managers to identify workplace hazards, assess risks, implement control measures and lead health and safety improvements that meet international best practice and regulatory expectations.
What You Will Learn (6 modules)
● Foundations of occupational health and safety: legal frameworks, duty of care and HSE management system principles.
● Risk assessment and control: hazard identification, risk evaluation, hierarchy of controls and safe systems of work.
● Workplace hazards and prevention: physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial hazards; control measures.
● Fire safety and emergency planning: fire risk assessment, prevention, detection, evacuation and emergency response.
● Accident investigation and incident reporting: root-cause analysis, corrective actions and learning loops.
● Monitoring, auditing and continuous improvement: HSE performance indicators, inspection techniques and audit readiness.
● Leadership and safety culture: behavioural safety, communication, training and building a positive safety culture.
