Description
A practical 10-week certificate that builds MEAL capacity for programme teams, M&E
officers and managers. The course focuses on designing results frameworks, collecting and analysing data, ensuring accountability to beneficiaries and turning learning into programme improvements.
What You Will Learn (6 modules)
● Theory of change and results frameworks: indicators, baselines and logical frameworks.
● Monitoring systems and data collection: sampling, survey design, mobile data collection and quality assurance.
● Evaluation methods: formative, summative, mixed methods and rapid assessments.
● Accountability mechanisms: feedback loops, complaints and response mechanisms (CRM) and community engagement.
● Learning and adaptive management: learning cycles, after-action reviews and evidence uptake.
● Data visualisation and reporting: dashboards, storytelling with data and donor reporting formats.
● Ethics and data protection: informed consent, confidentiality and safe data handling.
