Description
A practical 10-week short course that builds the complete digital skill set every modern professional now needs. The programme moves beyond basic computer literacy. It develops confident, ethical, AI-capable professionals who can work with data, collaborate remotely and communicate with impact.
Through hands-on labs, workplace templates and Ugandan case studies, participants learn to use AI tools responsibly, interpret data for decisions, run effective virtual teams, and protect themselves and their organisations online. Every session produces a tool, template or plan that participants can apply at work the following week.
What You Will Learn (6 modules)
The programme is delivered across six integrated modules, each producing a workplace-ready tool, template, or plan:
1. AI-ASSISTED WORK AND DECISION-MAKING
How AI tools work, their limits, prompt design, output verification, and using AI to support faster, better-quality decisions.
2. DATA LITERACY
Reading, questioning and presenting data; spreadsheets, simple dashboards and data-driven storytelling for everyday business decisions.
3. DIGITAL COLLABORATION AND REMOTE TEAMWORK
Leading and contributing to virtual teams; shared workspaces, project boards, meeting discipline and asynchronous work habits.
4. PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION
Clear, persuasive writing and speaking across email, reports, presentations and digital channels; audience-focused messaging and personal brand.
5. ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION
Spotting opportunities, testing ideas quickly, building simple business models and driving innovation inside organisations or new ventures.
6. ETHICS AND CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS
Digital ethics, data privacy, responsible AI use, password and device hygiene, fraud recognition and safe online behaviour.
