Description
A practical 8–10 week certificate that prepares humanitarian practitioners to design, implement and monitor Cash and Voucher Assistance programmes. The course covers market analysis, delivery mechanisms, protection, accountability and monitoring to ensure safe, effective and scalable CVA interventions.
What You Will Learn (6 modules)
● CVA fundamentals and modalities: cash transfers, vouchers, conditional vs unconditional assistance.
● Market and feasibility assessments: market functionality, price monitoring and vendor capacity.
● Delivery mechanisms and technology: mobile money, e-wallets, vouchers and transfer agent selection.
● Protection, inclusion and do no harm: targeting, gender and protection mainstreaming, fraud mitigation.
● Monitoring and evaluation for CVA: post-distribution monitoring, outcome measurement and cost-efficiency analysis.
● Coordination and cash working groups: harmonisation, referral pathways and multi-agency programming.
● Compliance and financial controls: transfer reconciliation, audit trails and beneficiary verification.
