Description
A practical 10-week short course that helps small and medium enterprises move from ad-hoc digital tools to a coherent, revenue-driving digital strategy. You’ll leave with a clear digital roadmap — not theory — that prioritises quick wins (online sales, simple automation, customer data) and a phased plan for longer-term change (ERP, integrations, analytics). The course uses real Ugandan SME case studies, vendor-agnostic tool comparisons and
hands-on labs so owners and managers can implement improvements the week after each workshop.
What You Will Learn (6 modules)
● Module 1 — Digital Readiness and Strategy: assess digital maturity, set measurable goals, prioritise initiatives with ROI focus.
● Module 2 — Customer Channels and E-commerce Basics: build simple online storefronts, mobile-first customer journeys, payment integrations and order fulfilment flows.
● Module 3 — Digital Operations and Automation: automate invoicing, inventory alerts, basic CRM workflows and simple bookkeeping integrations.
● Module 4 — Data, Reporting and Decision Making: collect the right metrics, build simple dashboards, and use data to drive pricing, stock and marketing decisions.
● Module 5 — Digital Marketing and Customer Acquisition: practical social media campaigns, paid ads basics, content that converts and low-cost customer retention tactics.
● Module 6 — Implementation, Change Management and Vendor Selection: pilot design, procurement checklist, vendor evaluation, staff training and measuring ROI.
