ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

This MACCS programme at NIU is intended for working professionals who need to
update and consolidate the skills necessary to operate in an ever environmentally
conscious fast-changing business world of today. The programme is designed to give
learners a deeper understanding of the inter-relationships between the environment,
climate change and overall sustainability context. It focuses on energy, environmental
assessment and management procedures, and low carbon strategies required by
industrial and commercial bodies, governments and society.

PROGRAMME REQUIREMENTS

In order to enrol into the MACCS programme, a candidate is required to have:

  1. A minimum of second-class first degree or postgraduate diploma from a recognized institution.
  2. Adequate knowledge of computers, and access to a reliable computer and
    Internet connection, and preferably owning a laptop.
  3. A pass mark of 50 in the NIU Graduate Admission Test may be required.
