About the course
This course looks at the fundaments of Remote Sensing and GIS tools and how they can be applied to various disciplines. Over the years, the uses of remote sensing and GIS have proven so effective in collecting and analyzing large geospatial data with precision in less time.
The robustness of these tools also makes it possible for experts in different fields of endeavors to access and analyze historical data and present data to guide future planning.
This course will allow the students to analyze, create databases, monitor, and simulate future environmental challenges amidst the fast-approaching timeline of the United Nations Sustainable (2030). This course will equip students with the skills to advise policy makers and stakeholders in making decisions in their respective fields of study.
